The Opportunity

We are a rapidly growing real estate investment and hospitality company based in San Juan. We own and operate an $8 million portfolio and have just acquired a new 4-unit building, bringing our total portfolio to 25 Airbnb units across Puerto Rico.

Most entry-level real estate roles put you several layers away from the people making decisions. This role puts you in the room.

We are looking for a recent college graduate or early-career operator with an entrepreneurial spirit who wants to learn the short-term rental business from the ground up. You will work directly with the founders across acquisitions, renovations, daily operations, and financial analysis, gaining firsthand experience in how a growing real estate company is built and managed.

This is a hands-on path to understanding the entire business from the ground up. Especially at the beginning, you will spend significant time working directly in the properties and completing routine handyman projects. That firsthand experience is essential to learning how we maintain, improve, and develop each asset before you take on broader operational and investment responsibilities.

Revenue Growth

Real company revenue by year and forward projections.

Who You Are

  • Growth-Oriented: You are here to learn the business, take on greater responsibility, and earn opportunities through strong performance.
  • A Go-Getter: You do not wait for instructions; you see a problem and you fix it.
  • Thick-Skinned & Adaptable: One hour you might be managing a contractor, the next you might be fixing a smart lock or running errands. No task is beneath you.
  • Bilingual: You are fully fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal). This is non-negotiable for managing our local staff and contractors.
  • Tech-Savvy: You can navigate property management software, coordinate schedules digitally, and troubleshoot wifi issues without panic.
  • AI Fluent: You use AI assistants and LLMs to work through problems, analyze scenarios, and make better decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Operations: Coordinate contractor, maintenance, and vendor schedules, and review completed work to keep units inspection-ready and guest-ready.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing renovations and maintenance for our units, including our newest 4-unit acquisition.
  • Acquisition Research: Conduct advanced market research and financial analysis to identify and evaluate future acquisition targets.
  • Property Care: Handle routine handyman work, including installing light fixtures, changing locks, troubleshooting electronics, completing paint touch-ups, and turning over units when tenants move out. Coordinate licensed or specialized repairs when needed.
  • Logistics: Run company errands, purchase supplies, and ensure properties are fully stocked.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure our guests have a seamless 5-star experience.

What We Offer

  • Direct Founder Access: You report directly to the partners, the people who bought, renovated, and operate every unit in the portfolio. Training in property analysis, renovation management, and hospitality operations comes directly from the source.
  • Consistent Work: Professional services contractor engagement with a flexible workload of 20-40 hours per week.
  • Performance Bonus: Annual bonus potential based on company net income and hitting specific operational milestones. If we win, you win.
  • Growth: We are in growth mode. Prove yourself here, and your responsibilities and compensation will grow with the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Hospitality, Engineering, Management, or related fields preferred, but attitude matters more).
  • Hands-on experience working on physical projects is required. If hired, you must own and bring a basic toolkit to job sites daily. Specialty tools can be added as the role progresses.
  • Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license (daily travel between San Juan properties is required).
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to San Juan, PR immediately.
  • Availability on weekends as needed for partner walkthroughs, property visits, and guest emergencies.
